During the session, the Embassy officials provided an overview of Sweden’s cultural landscape and shared perspectives on the country’s approach towards creative arts, music, cultural education, and community engagement initiatives.
The research team is currently in Stockholm to study and analyse how Swedish arts education policies contribute to cultural identity formation and the enhancement of community well-being, particularly within multicultural urban settings.

The Embassy of Malaysia extends its congratulations to Restu Foundation and Sakina Förlag AB for the successful organisation of the exhibition and their continued efforts in promoting intercultural understanding through arts and education.
The exhibition featured a wide range of Islamic artistic and educational materials, including exquisite Islamic calligraphy artworks produced by talented Malaysian artists, interactive Arabic calligraphy demonstrations, as well as educational modules
The event successfully gathered approximately 150 guests comprising members of the diplomatic corps, local community and representatives from various organisations.
Jointly organised by the Restu Foundation and Sakina Förlag AB, the event served as a key component of the global 1 Million Waqf Quran initiative, aimed to promote Islamic arts, Quranic literacy, and greater cultural understanding among diverse communities.
Additionally, the discussion also touched on efforts to further strengthen cooperation in promoting Islamic arts and cultural diplomacy between Malaysia and partners in the Scandinavian region.
