Some leave during the storm, then wonder why their names are missing from the harvest.
The struggle keeps attendance. So does the reward.
You are free to walk away when the road gets ugly. You are free to disappear during the winter. You are free to quit when the process becomes uncomfortable.
But understand this:
Leaving is always an option. Belonging to the outcome is not.
The table of winners has no reserved seat for people who abandoned the journey and returned only when there was something worth celebrating.
Everybody wants the crown.
Very few want the scars that usually come before it.
So give up if you must.
Just don’t be surprised when the winners finally gather and nobody is looking for you.
The harvest remembers who stayed long enough to plant.
I like when people don’t panic in chaos… not because they don’t have the spirit of urgency, but because they’re thinking g of a way out already.
