WARRI was a big industrial hub in the 70's - 90's.
Warri Refinery, NNPC, DSC , Delta glass, Shell, Chevron, Schlumberger, Dunlop, Agip, Saipem, Halliburton were in full operation back then. Escravos & Forcados was at its peak.
The city thrived, Maritime activities thrived.
Democracy is more than just a system of government; it is the collective voice of a people determined to shape their own destiny.
As we celebrate #DemocracyDay, we honour the sacrifices made for our freedom and renew our commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive, and prosperous Ughelli North Constituency 2.
Together, we can ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every home.
Happy Democracy Day to all my constituents and Nigerians everywhere
I refilled 12.5kg cooking gas with N23,750 today. It was even scarce, I had to check like 3 gas plants.
Last month refil was N16,100, February was N13,000.
I was speechless. We can't continue to live like this in Nigeria.
@okoliecollins5@CCSoludo@Mayor_Ideato I'm particularly of Akokwa- Osina -Urualla down to K.O Mbadiwe University axis will develop massively. Ideato South are not as pro active in bringing development back home. Akokwa/Osina will be the biggest beneficiary of this road & it's potential boost in economic opportunities.
Thank you Onwa Oyoko @Hope_Uzodimma1
Ideato Nation is saying a big thank you for delivering visible and tangible development to Ideato🙏
This road opens up a lot of opportunities along the Uga -Akokwa - Orlu axis.
Solid work.
Shame on Okoroawusa!
Yesterday, I inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the Orlu-Mgbe-Akokwa-Uga, in Imo West Senatorial District to assess the pace and quality of the work.
It was particularly encouraging to witness the remarkable progress recorded, nearly 90% completion. Beyond the physical transformation of these communities, these developments are restoring hope among our people and strengthening their confidence in government’s commitment to improving their welfare and quality of life.
This is the true impact of progressive leadership that remains focused on the transformation of our society through purposeful governance and sustainable development.
With the economic reforms of the #RenewedHope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which have enabled sub-national governments to deliver greater developmental outcomes, we will continue to transform our dear State in the best interest of all our people.

One thing I I have learned is that a lot of Nigerians don’t tie their struggles to the dysfunctional system in Nigeria, they think it’s the devil or something
