@Sarah59321051@AusPoll6 Late term abortion is not a widespread thing. It happens if, and only if, the mother and/or child is in danger. And those decision are best left in the hands of the families and their medical professionals, rather than government or populist polling.
@CrySlyFly@AusPoll6@ProfJoannaHowe You’ve read that wrong I’m afraid. 71% of Australians in that poll support access to abortion. Current law allows for it be legal ‘in most cases’. If anything it’s the 29% who would like to expand the law to allow for ‘all cases’.
Congratulations to Derek for being all-knowing!
I wasn’t even close to despite being confident that Labor would come back with an increased majority, I definitely never saw the absolute smash-a-thon that was endured by the LNP.
Well done Derek. 💚
Always fun the morning after the night before - to watch the fight between the hard line right & the centrists as they battle it out to see who was more wrong.
They cannot win from the hard right in Australia and the billionaires and media and mining backers need to accept this.
We’ll leave it there my lovelies.
What a ride.
It’s been a consistent shift across the nation, even in northern Queensland.
I’ll be looking forward to reading all the forensics in the morning.
Thank you for following along. Much love to you all. 💚💋
Such an important element that both leaders have been so respectful and gracious toward one another tonight. We don’t want polarisation and American style politics here and I think the electorate has made that very clear today.
Very proud. 💚💚🥳
@AussieSunsetz No. The postals and orepolls fall in favor of the Libs around 60/40. The swing is too big for them to conquer even with that. Labor have won decisively.
