With a strong winter storm forecast to bring 12 to 24 inches of snow to Massachusetts and blizzard conditions to southeastern parts of the state on Sunday night through Monday, now is the time to prepare.

With a significant winter storm forecast to bring 12+ inches of snow to much of Massachusetts on Sunday and Monday, it's time to make preparations.
• Prepare for possible power outages. Fully charge your cellphone, laptop and any essential electronic devices before the storm.
• Ensure you have extra batteries for medical equipment and assistive devices.
• Take stock of your emergency kit and ensure it includes seasonal supplies, such as extra winter clothing and blankets.

The @NWSBoston has issued a Heat Advisory for much of Massachusetts from 11am on July 28 - 8pm on July 30.

Traffic Alert: Temporary Road Closures - Friday 11/8/24.
Please be aware that Pleasant Street (Route 60) between Fellsway East in Malden and Fellsway West in Medford will be closed to vehicle traffic, including MBTA buses, on Friday, November 8th from 9am-12pm for thr funeral of Malden Police Lieutenant Scott Carroll.
@MassStatePolice detail officers will be on site to assist with vehicular traffic and detours.

This morning, law enforcement agencies from across the region gathered to honor Nick Reina's birthday. Nick is a devoted supporter of ours and has a passion for police vehicles. Sgt. JP Kelley and Nick's family arranged for a police cruiser convoy in Malden to commemorate this special occasion. We are grateful for the support of all the officers and agencies who attended this momentous celebration.
The MPD is proud to have Nick as one of our biggest fans and wish him a birthday filled with love, laughter, and celebration!
