Brid Diggin shares now about the role and importance of Advanced Nurse Practitioners in the journey of our hip fracture patients. In 2020, IHFS 4 changed to include ANP's, when University Hospital Kerry were achieving 11% in this standard. This has ensured that in 2022, 34% of patients with a hip fracture were seen by a Geriatrician or ANP in the hospital #IHFD2023
