History professor & former vice provost at Salem State, author of A Storm of Witchcraft & The Devil of Great Island, early American public history & archaeology
I've not been tweeting much of late for many reasons: down time relaxing with family, a small archaeology project, preparing to return to teaching after 5 years away and also managing to take on a couple more research/writing projects. Fear not, occasional tweets will continue...

Very exciting news that Old York Historical Society has been given the McIntire garrison by descendants of its builder. Likely the oldest house in Maine, it was built in 1713 by a son of one of the Scots prisoners of war shipped to Maine as forced indentured servants in 1650.
Our next #LitAtTheLounge event is on 4/24 with #NH author and journalist J. Dennis Robinson (moderated by @EmersonWBaker).
He is the #author of 16 books, including his newest, '1623: Pilgrims, Pipe Dreams, Politics & the Founding of #NewHampshire.'

A “first meeting” from 2022 following years of documentary research & perhaps my favorite image from that season. Unscaled, black & white, digital; channeling the artistic brilliance of Allan Ludwig. @AGS_gravestones@cmgerrard1@EmersonWBaker@SHA_org@SPMA
