๐ A millennium ago, St. Stephen of Hungary recognized a truth that remains relevant today: a nationโs future cannot be secured by institutions, laws and economic interests alone. A society needs a moral order that binds it together. And that is impossible without God.
โ๏ธ On this special day, we remember the Christian heritage that has shaped our nation for over a thousand years. Even in the darkest times of our history, faith in Christ has given us strength, hope and a steadfast compass. Preserving and passing on this priceless heritage is a shared responsibility of all Hungarians.
May God bless and protect our homeland!
Today the Church celebrates the feast of the great Pope who stood as a bulwark against all the errors of his time. St. Pius X famously condemned modernism as โthe synthesis of all heresiesโ.
May his intercession keep us steadfast in the pure Faith, uncompromising in orthodoxy and faithful to Tradition.
Sancte Pie X, ora pro nobis!
This is what sacred historical continuity looks like ๐ญ๐บโ๏ธ
Yesterday we celebrated Hungaryโs 1026th birthday by honouring our first king, St. Stephen.
The veneration of his miraculously preserved โHoly Right Handโ in a solemn procession through the streets of Budapest each year is a powerful reminder of our nationโs (and Europeโs) Catholic foundation.
Traditions like this help us see ourselves as participants in our own history as a nation, experiencing a palpable connection to our ancestors. We must resist all the forces attempting to sever our roots, suppress our sense of history and destroy our faith.
I had to spend over a decade far away from my homeland to recognise these fundamental truths.
Germany and France recorded the highest numbers of anti-Christian hate crimes in OIDACโs July analysis, which documented 40 cases across Europe.
Thank you @ChristianPost for covering our latest findings:

France used to be known as the eldest daughter of the Church โ a faint memory at this point ๐
But Poland remains the bulwark of Christianity in Europe ๐ต๐ฑโ๏ธ
While France builds Europe's largest mosque. Poland has built Europe's tallest Virgin Mary statue. Officially opens to the public tomorrow.
Two nations. Two very different paths ๐ต๐ฑ
On 15th August the Universal Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
In Hungary, there is an additional special national devotion associated with this feast: tradition holds that St. Stephen, Hungaryโs first Christian king, entrusted his kingdom to Our Ladyโs protection on this day โ the day he also died in 1038.
St. Stephenโs consecration makes the Virgin Mary Patrona Hungariae, heavenly patroness of the nation. It is also the origin of the Catholic tradition of referring to Hungary as Regnum Marianum (Kingdom of Mary).

The West is searching for a unifying faith, an ethos, an identity to save him from the onslaught โย a belief system that will preserve his liberty, his family and his nation, and stand as a force against evil.
The answer has been here all along.
โThe line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either โ but right through every human heart โ and through all human hearts.โ
โ Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
โWe are facing an enormous and dramatic clash between good and evil, death and life, the โculture of deathโ and the โculture of lifeโ. We find ourselves not only โfaced withโ but necessarily โin the midst ofโ this conflict: we are all involved and we all share in it, with the inescapable responsibility of choosing to be unconditionally pro-life.โ
โ Pope St. John Paul II
โIt is with infinite caution that any man ought to venture upon pulling down an edifice which has answered in any tolerable degree for ages the common purposes of society.โ
โ Edmund Burke
