@snowfla16532082 Swim all you want. I am extremely proud of our national team and what we have achieved. I just think it’s sad that in a game with VAR (which supposedly should make the right calls) we yet again see a game changing moment with the wrong call.
@owain_wn14 @21GYUL2@1GAA1 When we have VAR in the game and game changing events like this occurs, they have to be on point. Or else they could just as well remove VAR and bring more excitement back to the game.
@Locke92611550 You guys deserved the win, but in the morden state off football, VAR and Sportsmanship has failed. I respected when a ref back in the day could make a bad call because of the pace of the game, but nowadays VAR should be used in the right situations. Good luck in the final.
@CJLove959 I am so proud that words are almost inefficient to describe it. I am not only proud of what the team delivered on the pitch, but also of the way that they connected the entire country and how they made us all stand together in the time of need. #Eriksen
@1GAA1 @owain_wn14 You are on point with that statement. Sterling and Immobile can almost create a small diving tea party together. The lack of sportsmanship is just sad for football.
@dwm81 @WilllRoberts Haha, I’m not at all a fan of the Immobile incident. 😅 But VAR should most definitely have used more time on a match deciding call like the one with Sterling.
@nekinecovek Actually I find that VAR has played a decent roll at this tournament… until today. In a semifinal in extra time you just have to make further investigations on a call like this.
@WSC0_X I agree that England was the better team this evening, and unfortunately you are right. Today ‘the possibility’ of making a penalty call is more often seen than actually making the right call.
