If Manchester United sell Kobbie Mainoo, that would be one of the worst decisions the club has made in the past two decades. He is the future of the midfield & the club itself & they'd be squandering a special talent.

He's contracted until 2027+1, but the fact it's even a talking point or a consideration is an abject failure by the club. Signing a midfielder? Great, but what's the point if you're letting a player like Mainoo leave?

Alejandro Garnacho? Go to Chelsea. Antony, Rasmus Højlund? They will leave too. Jadon Sancho? Don't care, anywhere but here - but the club should be buying Mainoo's long term partner, not letting him go.
