Election observation is #EUForeignPolicy in action — strengthening democratic processes, building trust, and supporting credible elections worldwide. The new agreement between the European Commission and the UK will deepen our cooperation on Election Observation Missions #EOM, amplifying this shared commitment to democracy.
At #UNPeacebuildingWeek, 🇪🇺@EUAmbUN Lambrinidis urged concrete steps for impactful peacebuilding:
🔹 Structural UN Secretariat changes to incentivize UN cohesion
🔹 Strengthening @UNPeacebuilding via strong connection to UN development work, QCPR.
