@MarioNawfal Most of the people here, men or women, can be sued and found guilty for anything done 20 years ago. Who remembers?
I don't know the details, this just seems wrong. How come this is in court today, not 20 years ago?
Britain is no match for a war with Russia. Significant difference in war power, nuclear, hyper ballistic missiles and territory.
NATO is already at war with Russia. They can call it Ukraine - Russia war, but all weapons, financing, intelligence, drones, missiles, satellite support, foreign troops (independent contractors they say) are fully NATO provided.
So, if Britain plans to full guns blazing with Russia, that possible would be the end. The territory of the island won't sustain nuclear explosion. Too small.
Let's hope this is just political nonsense talk.
@wolegebiubiubiu@thecyrusjanssen Yes, ๐ฏ. It's all legal. It's all public. The family made millions, maybe billions from insider trading, oil, stocks... They started their own cellular service, Trump Mobile, with a flagship plan "47 Plan".
@abdimao4@NewsTurko You might be right, using nucs against Iran might be the end of this state.
The world had gone crazy. History repeats over and over. Millions die for no reason. Endless wars.
Grock AI: The economic bill for these interventions is massive, uneven, and mostly unpaid by the people who ordered them. Direct military spending is only the tip of the iceberg. Long-term costs (veteransโ care, debt interest), destroyed infrastructure in the target countries, oil-market shocks, and opportunity costs dominate the real tally.โ

US and Allied Costs
Brown Universityโs Costs of War Project puts the post-9/11 wars (primarily Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and related operations) at roughly $8 trillion through FY2022: about $5.8 trillion in appropriations plus a minimum $2.2 trillion in future veteransโ medical and disability obligations. Interest on the borrowing already exceeds $1 trillion and keeps compounding. Afghanistan alone exceeded $2 trillion; Iraq + Syria exceeded $2.8 trillion when future care is included. Later operations (Yemen, and the 2026 Iran campaign) push the broader War on Terror total toward or past $10 trillion when all categories are counted.โ
Justthenews
For the 2026 Iran campaign (Operation Epic Fury), the Congressional Budget Office estimated roughly $38 billion in Department of Defense costs by September; independent estimates run from the mid-$30s of billions to over $100 billion once munitions burn rates and broader effects are included. US consumers have paid well over $140 billion extra for gasoline and diesel since the war began, with national average regular gasoline rising from about $2.98 to over $4.20 per gallon at points. One Moodyโs estimate put the household-level hit near $2,000. Precision munitions stockpiles were depleted rapidly, forcing trade-offs with other theaters (including Ukraine).โ

Most of this spending was debt-financed rather than tax-financed, so the interest burden continues long after the shooting stops.
@rowdyray33@grok what are the chances of airplane crashing near President private residence, after the installation of air defense systems around Mar a Lago? Its a big country, doesn't seem like incident. Just give a number.
@RealAlexJones Tucker C. and Alex J. we're friendly and supportive of the current President during election period. If anyone knows what is going on, they would be in the list. Nuclear strike on Iran will be unforgivable. And the consequences unpredictable.
Hope we don't witness such madness.
Dangerous and not well thought statement for a UK public office servant.
NATO is at war with Russia. Ukraine is just the playground. UK is on the front line, main player with funds, troops (independent contractors, intelligence, weapon support, all). If this war goes sour, British people will likely pay a price.
Hope not.
A war that can't be won. A President that promised to stop the endless wars.
What the h*ll is going on?
I'm not politician, government intelligence staff or military expert, but I see such action as madness. You can kill, but you won't control. The idea that Iranians will fold up and surrender like Japan is naive.
Most people prefer to take the blue pill. Comfortable illusion for freedom, defending democracy, freedom and other cheap BS.๐ Reality is harsh.
Since the beginning of time, all is about money and power. Cynical fact I know.
Very few idealists take the red pill, face the harsh reality and try to make the world better.
@RapidResponse47@POTUS I feel disturbance in the Force! ๐
President Trump and his team are making changes. Some like, some not.
He delivers to his promises.
No one should be surprised.
