To the survivors reading this message - our world may try to get to to feel shame, but it has no sound foundation upon which to justify its reasoning off of.

Empathy is crucial when it comes to advocacy work and getting victims the justice they deserve. Our work will only be as effective as we are willing to hear where people are coming from. Any bias or judgment we bring into a situation hinders our ability to listen well.
