@C_Kneer I've had two of these - I'd read they could be pretty nasty so I asked for valium, which my GP prescribed. With that plus codeine I was relaxed and comfortable through the whole thing, and the gynaecologist said she couldn't understand why they didn't prescribe them to everyone.

This is Freddie, a big foodie/gourmand who wants to be a food critic. He is undergoing chemo at QMC Nottingham for an aggressive brain sarcoma and his 10th birthday is tomorrow, if by the power of Twitter, he could get any likes or messages….it would really cheer him up.
