🚨 WEST MIDLANDS POLICE THREATENED CHILD WITH ARREST OVER TIKTOK VIDEO SHE VIEWED.

The UK is in the midst of a free speech crisis. Anyone who denies it is kidding themselves.

Last year, a video went viral showing two West Midlands Police officers turning up at a teenage girl’s house over a TikTok video featuring a teacher, with negative comments, alleging that she had committed a malicious communications offence.

The girl was told to hand over her devices or face arrest. Her mother agreed to a voluntary interview, but the case was later dropped and no further action was taken.

Most shockingly, the police did not even check the IP address, which would have immediately shown that the girl was not responsible. They later identified another child, who was also subjected to no further action.

After the video went viral, the force attempted to justify its actions with a ridiculous statement describing the incident as “incredibly serious”.

The statement was eventually taken down, but there has been no correction or apology for what was a false allegation.

The fact that police can turn up at your door and seize your devices over a TikTok video is testament to the free speech crisis in the UK.
