Gabby Petito would probably be alive today if the police were trained to spot the warning signs of domestic violence.

Instead, they predictably blamed her and wrote it off as nothing. We need better training for police or trained DV professionals accompanying them on calls.

I didn't know Gabby.
Most of us didn't know Gabby.
But we all know a Gabby, a woman who is in an abusive and manipulative relationship and needs help.

We have to be better for the Gabby's in our lives. We have to do better.

She deserved so. much. better.

People who openly say "I'd rather not say" and are ACTUALLY anti-vaxx are probably protecting themselves from a foreseen situation of control with fear from those who think this is the new form of DNA to be able to do the things we did a year ago without this.

[emily 🦋 @EmilyEvans17_]

Or just be proud to say you don't want something that you aren't sure of injecting in your body? I literally will straight up ask people and proudly say "Cause I don't want one and I feel like we're all the same risk" and the look they give is "I'd rather not say"

[deanna mcdonald @deannagmcdonald]
