Today we had some special visitors in math class this afternoon! We ended the day with a live demonstration on how to feed the bearded dragon! @ccsd21frost
My 4th/5th graders were inspired by our Doug Florian author study and asked to make their own poems! Their excitement and enthusiasm was amazing to see! @ccsd21frost
After reading One Plastic Bag in literacy we made our own plastic thread to create bracelets! Students made the connection to the geography theme interacting with our environment, reusing to help save our Earth! @ccsd21frost
Our motivation for being kind is to help others. The extra good news is that kindness helps us too:
๐ Boosts mood
๐ Increases immunity
๐ Good for the heart
๐ Eases anxiety
โ๏ธ Reduces stress

What a year! Thank you @Seesaw for allowing @YachachiqEllie and I to stay connected to and interact with our students during these times! We made it to 10,000 even without the posts from the last two days! We are so proud of our students and their engagement! @ccsd21frost
Todayโs morning message asked why it is good to know your own strengths. So proud of our studentsโ thoughts of using their strengths to help and teach others or to help with their own self confidence! @YachachiqEllie we are doing something right! #21Learns@ccsd21frost#SEL
This was the most entertaining #GoogleMeet yet! Jam packed with real time interaction, collaboration, and unexpected moments that made for laughs and uplifted spirits!
Joining @YachachiqEllie and learning even more about this incredible program! Canโt wait to share with the @ccsd21frost community, for anyone who wants to learn! When nap time runs long, PD gets done! @Seesaw#naptimelearning#alwayslearning#21learns
