As someone who’s uterus grows tumors for fuckin’ funsies and I have to get them surgically removed and then return back to work in a day or two like it’s nothing. But we give men opioids for vasectomies and they get days off.

Like I currently have cramping so fuckin bad it compares to when I was 6-7cm dilated in labor. But I will be expected to go to work tomorrow and be on my feet for 8 hours. Because we don’t acknowledge the fact that periods can be bad. Periods can take you out of commission
