And this is an extremely privileged take. I am frustrated and upset, but there are so many others that are scared. Restrictions to safe abortions disproportionately affect people of color, fiscally disadvantaged people and those in conservative states. This is all so infuriating.

If pro-life people genuinely cared about the sanctity of life, the same energy they bring to banning abortions would be present for advocating for reforming our foster care system, or child care access, or universal healthcare. But it’s not about saving lives, it’s about control.
