A5-I struggle with this. I have to remind myself constantly that everyone's knowledge is different. I need to remember that we are ALL students...regardless of age and it is important to differentiate instruction. #ALTIC
I stuggle with waiting to respond. I want to jump in rather than letting them talk it out. I have found that my silence typically allows the convo or teacher's thought process to come full circle. I've started to notice that my principal does this in conversations. #ALTIC
A2: I think I would have to say reachable was the most difficult due to the nature of the teacher I'm working with. I have found that praises for the little things are just as important, if not more important, than the "big picture." #ALTIC
A1: I enjoyed having this as a guideline to follow. It allowed me to help stay on track but also allowed time for the discussion to happen and let the true goal come out through our conversations. #ALTIC
Our community is mourning the loss of Aniah Blanchard, one of our former Patriots. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
As a school system, we will be concentrating on providing support to our students and staff during this difficult time.
