“How are things at home?”

Most of the time the answer is “fine.”

Love this description of a respectful therapist from Adame and Lietner (2009), "Reverence implies awareness that the other is 'holding my heart respectfully, treating my soul gently, and seeing the decency behind my shame and my retreats from others'"
