God's love is never-ending! He can give you a new heart and mind. There are growing pains to it, but also tremendous joy and relief.

Nature's corruption is still a matter of our sin (Gen 3:17b). That runs deeper than we know. Hence, God's will can be confusing. I try to trust His perception of the larger good. That what He permits is necisarry in ways I can't see yet.

@synodofdork Yeah, when I heard this argument, it made a lot of sense to me. A portion of my church upbringing was Pentecostal (Church of God) & I never spoke in tongues. This made things a bit awkward sometimes, like there was something wrong with me. Now I see more clearly, not at all.
