i’m desperate.

little romeo has come a long way.
i got him and his siblings in my neighborhood when they were just bottle babies. his brother and sister quickly found fantastic homes. but little romeo has had the worst luck.
he even had a home that left him in the street.
i got him back and have been keeping him in my bedroom in a crate hoping that the right home would come along to no avail.

he deserves so much more. he didn’t have a life with me. he started acting up because of how frustrating his living situation had become. he deserves a real home with freedom to walk around and be loved.

he has been in a paid foster for 3-4 weeks. where is he has THRIVED! he’s happy, he plays with his foster siblings, he doesn’t bite anyone (surprise to me), he’s opened up to be the curious and adventurous little man he was meant to be. his foster mom even says he’s the MOST loving cat. all he does is pur and if you let him, he will lay on top of you all day. he’s a big lover.

i have to pick him up this coming monday from his amazing foster and my only option for him now is to take him to a boarding facility where he will go back to living in a cage.
i’m running out of options and ideas.

some people tell me to let him live with the family who was letting him roam and be an outside cat. but seeing as a couple of days ago the cat in our neighborhood disappeared after two years and how dangerous life in the street is, i don’t have the heart.
and now that i know he can be sweet and loving, i just can’t do that to him.

he’s vaccinated, neutered, sweet. he needs a real home. i’ll provide the litter box YOU want, the cat tree, the toys, the bed, the food, whatever you will need for him. if the only thing stopping you is money, please talk to me and we will figure this out.

i’ll even pay for transport or drive him, fly him wherever his perfect home may be.
all i ask is that you love him, keep him safe, and are serious about this. a pet is for life.

Meanwhile:
In the state of Idaho - the Governor signed a bill into law which prevents young women from exercising their constitutional right to travel to get the legal abortion care they need.

In the state of Florida - if a victim of incest or rape is impregnated by her attacker, she has to provide documentation to “prove” her assault in order to become “eligible” for an abortion.

In Texas, women are being forced to risk their own lives before being allowed to have an abortion. In many cases, waiting until they are SEPTIC before a doctor will help them.

In the state of Alabama, a woman who is raped and impregnated by her assailant cannot legally seek an abortion at all, and any doctor who helps her to get one, can be punished with a life sentence in jail.

So yes, there is indeed a war on women.
And Republicans are the ones waging it.
