Removing newly qualified midwife from my bio.. thank you to everyone who has supported me as a NQM in a global pandemic! #band6#communitymidwife π π€°π» π
Thought I'd got over the fact that the Sept17 cohort didn't get a graduation but seeing everyone's photos and videos has made me feel bitter.
Forgotten cohort even though we headed off into the NHS early to help during the pandemic and started as NQ in the most difficult yearπ
So touched to have received these beautiful flowers off a family I provided antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal continuity of care to. I feel so lucky to work within a continuity model π #jobsatisfaction#privileged
Very grateful to have been given the opportunity to attend todayβs continuity conference. Iβm left feeling very inspired and fortunate to be working within a continuity model with women at the centre of our practice π
Great to have time with @EmilyPritchard6 @manmidwife @Jessica15721465 @JulieRi22023248 planning top 3 priorities in implementing continuity...obstetric link/named consultant, flexibility/autonomy for staff roster planning & ensure good data outcome monitoring #continuitywales
#ContinuityWales what a line, 'maternity is not just a service, it's a journey' that will stick with me. If in doubt, always place the woman at the centre of every conversation. Great to have womens voice in the day today β€π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ
