I once watched a movie called Eden and it was about an Asian-American girl who was forced into prostitution by human traffickers and it really opened my eyes at how brutal it is because that movie didn’t hold anything back! #WMST1006 #wmstg10

Honestly I’m not super shocked that the US prison system is all sorts of messed up. Prisons are over crowded, but how is it supposed to be a correctional facility if you’re not doing any sort of correcting with whatever problem that the inmates came in with? #WMST1006 #wmstcr1

Regarding the Women, Crime, and. Criminalization reading: The number of women who are serving time in jails and prisons across the US has spiked incredibly & without even reading about it, you can see it in the criminal justice system & it’s so sad. #WMST1006 #wmstcr1
