Bracknell Green Party General Election Candidate
Promoted by Adrian Haffegee on behalf Emily Torode (Green Party), 9 Shakespeare Way, Warfield, RG42 3AQ
🎉 Congrats to all the new @TheGreenParty councillors elected today across England! 💚
I'm so pleased to see how many more communities will now be served by hard-working Greens, after our 8th consecutive year of growth in local elections.
People are sick of the tired old parties, and Greens are providing a much-needed positive and progressive alternative. Exciting times ahead!

🚀 Following Thursday's election we've reached a new record high 859 councillors on 181 councils!
💚 The Green Party is the only party offering a real alternative to the tired old parties.
Join the Green Party today to help us keep delivering real hope and real change ⤵️
I know there are many trans and non-binary people who will be feeling deeply worried today, caught in the midst of a media storm as they try to simply live their lives. To those people, I say: please know that I stand with you - today, tomorrow and always.
@TheGreenParty continues to support a policy of self-ID to allow trans people to live full lives free from harassment in the gender they know themselves to be. The judge emphasised in his speech that trans people are still protected under the law, but it is for government to now demonstrate how this will be achieved.
I will work closely with human rights and LGBTIQA+ groups to understand the consequences of this ruling, and will not hesitate to press for changes in legislation if it is needed to protect the human rights of all.
Up and down the country people are already sick of the labour government and are turning to the Greens for real hope and real change. Isn't it time you got involved?

The Greens have absolutely crushed Labour in a council by-election in Haringey. In David Lammy's very own constituency.
Huge congratulations to Ruairidh Paton, who has been duly elected with 1,059 votes – nearly double Labour’s total. Change is coming!
Let this sink in - @RachelReevesMP and @Keir_Starmer are choosing to push 50,000 children into poverty - but won't ask multi-millionaires and billionaires to pay a little bit more tax.
Absolutely sickening.
Why is Richard Tice so keen to rubbish @AdrianRamsay's proposal to tax extreme wealth?
Let's just say he has an estimated net worth of £40m. And has made extensive use of an offshore trust in Jersey, a notorious centre of tax avoidance.
What a public-spirited patriot!

Fiona Bruce jokes when Richard Tice keeps interrupting that she might have to put a gag on him.
How about we stop having Reform on every single TV and radio show possible and constantly giving them a platform?
It's so obviously disproportionate. And it's constant.
#BBCQT
Adrian Ramsay (Green) let's look at why Richard was interrupting me so much - could it be that since the 2019 election, Reform has received £2.3m in donations from fossil fuel interests, climate change deniers and polluters? 🤷♀️ #bbcqt
The super rich have more power than ever before.
The old political parties have utterly failed. They've made things worse.
We don't have time to mess around.
I spoke to @novaramedia about why you need to join @TheGreenParty.

Everyone should join the Greens, there isn’t time to build a new party and even if that did happen, it’d only just split the vote further. Rather trying to find or create the “perfect” Left wing party, we band behind a solid option that already exists
📈 Average UK private rents increased by 8.7% over the last 12 months.
🚨 The sector is out of control and contributing to widening inequality and homelessness.
💚 The Green Party would introduce rent controls to stop the exploitation of private renters by landlords.
Yet another unsustainable rise in rents - time for the government to put a stop to rip off rents and stop landlords treating tenants as cash cows. Rent controls are long overdue and are badly needed to give all renters a home they can afford.
