@SccmsC A4: my takeaway after ch3— we have to look at our biases in this system. We have to address it and address it often. We can’t be afraid to ask hard questions or take deeper dives. We need to build a safe community of understanding and learning. #JCPSinterruptingracism

@SccmsC A2: this question brings up more questions for me: Do we all fit in the same system when we talk about success/dreams/future? Are we able to look at our bias & do we really know enough about the pple around us? Why do we keep using a system that is flawed?

Ch1 I’ve been wanting to do a lesson about empathy with my students where students would have to give up a sense (sight or hearing)or ability and depend on a partner to get through the day. I think this would build compassion for others and teamwork!#sojocollabor8 #KidsDeserveIt
