🧵1/Travel journalists and consumer travel experts, I'd appreciate your help.
My family's trip to the Azerbaijan F1 is now at risk because https://t.co/y5EAC2uqr4 is refusing to relocate us despite overwhelming evidence that our booking appears to be part of a fraudulent scam.
11/ If any travel journalists, consumer advocates or travel industry experts would like to review the evidence, I'm happy to share the full documentation.
We're simply asking https://t.co/y5EAC2uqr4 to move us into a legitimate, verified hotel so we can travel with confidence.
@BootsUK I placed an order to collect upon my arrival in the uk and as such didn’t bring any toiletries, arrived to collect as per my requested date and my order had not arrived nor have I had any correspondence from you to advise it’ll be late? What can I do? It’s over £100.
@GetYourGuide As it’s not cancelled within 24 hours of the trip I don’t get a refund. This is absolutely disgraceful. The police will not investigate a crime less than £400. Your security policy states the data of customers is paramount. This is simply not true. @MartinSLewis
Disgusted that a company like @GetYourGuide has been informed 3 times in 24 hours that fraudulent activity has taken place with my card and will not suspend the gift card that has been paid for with £130 of my money nor will they help me to get the money back.
@GetYourGuide I called you immediately after the booking was made yesterday morning to inform you it was fraud and nothing was done. The fraudster has since had the ability to use my money to book themselves another trip which took place today.
I have a question for anyone who won a #luckydipticket for #AdeleinMunich….if you won one that was “worse” than the seats you paid for do you have to accept it? @AdeleAccess
