@rosiejennapsych@dr_emina Hi Rosie, I was in a similar position grades wise in my first year and for a few modules in my second! I actually got a couple in the 40s for the first year. It didn’t impact my application last year and even though I didn’t get on, I did get three interviews xo
@mollylpsych I usually look up some music for concentration on Spotify. Helps that i don’t know the songs (they’re not well known)
Also I use an app called Flora which stops me getting distracted too!
There is no formula for writing/recording/communicating info about young people in a trauma-informed way but @InnovateProj research helped us identify some helpful things to consider. Check out this amazing graphic @MichiMathias created to help us share our learning 👇
The last month has been tough following my dclin rejection but feeling hopeful, optimistic & ready to reflect going forward for the next cycle of applications. I’ve had the most beautiful month with my people. Edinburgh with the girls, Harry styles, Lake District & Coldplay 🥺🤍
For some DClin reality, as I have been open this whole cycle, I didn’t get an offer for my final interview for the doctorate. I’m truly heartbroken beyond words, I really felt the interview went well🥺 going to take some time away from twitter for my MH and to heal from this.🤍
I say this as a proud Londoner - I don’t think the city would have done Eurovision as proud as Liverpool has. It’s way too big. Liverpool feels homely with things going on spread about the city. It’s amazing 🤩. #Eurovision
Straight from interview to the euro village for Eurovision in Liverpool. DClinPsy interviews are over & feeling happy with my final performance. Whatever the outcome now, I just know that I gave it my best and what will be will be 💭
Final interview this week with Lancaster, think I’m gonna check out of twitter (for the feed esp) over the next week whilst it’s happening/outcomes, especially with mine being at the end of the week. Just excited for this interview season to end for the most part…🥺#dclinpsy
