I genuinely think if we all adopted a 4 day work week with 5-6 hour days, it would change the course of society. People would be happier, healthier, less angry, and more present. Social bonds would be stronger. It could literally change the entire world.
Sometimes I feel like I’m going crazy because the UK government is focused on every other issue except the fact PEOPLE CAN’T AFFORD TO FILL THEIR FRIDGE???
THINGS I DONT DEBATE WITH MEN :
1. Abortion
2. Breastfeeding
3. Menstruation
4. Female body hair
5. Birth Control
6. Access to feminine hygiene products
Why? Because NONE of those involve the male body & therefore don't create any valid MALE OPINIONS
most men are actually COWARDŠ when it comes to confronting their male friends about mistreating women. they value MALE APPROVAL more than women's SAFETY
As a woman I am extremely aware that the reason I have my rights is because a woman somewhere got up, got MOUTHY, organised, raged, made herself INCREDIBLY inconvenient until things changed for the better for all of us. Which is precisely why I see women who uphold the patriarchy as traitors to all women.
they burned women
who knew which herbs
could end a pregnancy,
ease a fever,
numb a toothache.
they called it witchcraft.
it was healthcare.
and some of us
are still being punished
for knowing our own bodies
better than the men
who write the laws
about them.
Things I don't debate with men:

Scotland has become the first country in the world to make tampons, sanitary pads, and other period products completely free for anyone who needs them.
Under the law, schools, colleges, and public facilities must provide these essentials at no cost, helping ensure that no one has to struggle to access basic hygiene products.
A huge step forward for health, dignity, and equality , and many hope more countries will follow Scotland’s lead.
Five years since Sarah Everard and since
we stood and said “enough.” Five years on, women are still unsafe:
At home.
At work.
Online.
On nights out.
In taxis.
Walking home.
On buses.
In parks.
In hospitals.
In care.
In custody.
Enough still hasn’t been enough. #SarahEverard
Virginia Guiffre didn’t live to see her rapist and abuser arrested.
For years it was her word against “Prince” Andrew.
She never backed down.
She never stopped fighting for all survivors.
Thank you Virginia for your courage. May we get every last one of these predators.
