There are not many people who follow me on this bird app, so I am sure that this tweet will get lost in the abyss. But, for anyone paying attention I want to share a very special holiday gift with you, my best ever cinnamon rolls. You can keep this, or share it. Or pass it by. 🧵
@beyoncegarden Imagine growing up in a house where a toy collection was put above everything else. Piled in your bedroom, taken over every family space. All that money funneled to a toy collection. Good on her for selling it. Get your bag, girl.
@washghost1 Papa murphys is great. Take & bake is not a new concept. I grew up on Papa Aldo’s take & bake (which was then bought by Murphy’s to become Papa Murphys).
@charise_lee This is what tariffs will get you. Made in China and packaged last spring, imported at peak tariffs. Of course they are going to have to change the price. Manufacturing has LONG timelines, which is why volatile trade policies harm everyone.
@WallStreetApes These are not crazy prices. You’re going in to the deli and paying $10/lb for deli sides. It’s been this price level for YEARS. If you don’t want to pay someone to make your food for you, feel free to make it yourself.
@SpencerHakimian Countries who went around exploiting brown people to generate wealth then cry a river because brown people want to be an art of what their generational labor helped build.
@tracybeanz I’d be curious to see alcohol sales/consumption trend at airports over the years. I’d rather dress in sweats to handle the discomfort than get blitzed. Young people are more apt to handle stress with coziness instead of booze. I think this is what we’re seeing.
@allaynekr@StephenMoore It has been high due to rising cost of production, but there is no doubt that increasing costs of 38% of contracted supply by 50% is going to push up costs.
@mek_ju@StephenMoore Do YOUR research. Brazil is the most cost efficient place to produce coffee and makes up 38% of coffee imports. Brazil couldn’t possibly be replaced because that supply was under legal contracts made 6-12 months before tariffs were ever announced.
@sircalebhammer Stop taking tariffs and let US businesses invest it themselves. The question isn’t “where to put it” the question is why are we generating this revenue in the first place?!
@njoyzgrl81 While they CRY about a kid buying a soda with their SNAP card. $14k a year for the rest of their lives for doing nothing, but kids getting benefits for a few years while their parents are in a rough spot is incomprehensible
@ryangrim@RepMTG The irony of people in congress crying about kids getting SNAP benefits knowing they walk out of that building with a $14k pension paid for by taxpayers. Fix that before you complain about a child getting $400 in snap benefits.
