Voilà ! This new #LeFrançaisEnMusique playlist is taking you on a trip around France. France has 13 metropolitan administrative regions (and 5 overseas regions). The following thread features one artist from each* metropolitan administrative region.
Bonne année ! 2021 one was full of downs for me, not many ups. I was mostly unmotivated. Every time I did gather some will to post here, something happened which prevented me, killed my motivation over and over again. I'm sorry. :/ I'll try better in 2022. 🥺
@Annilyn_fr You ask questions and they promise you stuff and when you get there, you realise the reality is different. 😄 I hope I won't have to rely on seasonal jobs anymore because those are the worst. I hope I'll find something more permanent. Merci beaucoup ! ❤️
I've been feeling guilty about not posting content & then haven't posted about my life here bc of feeling guilty. A vicious circle. And my life... I was working in both shifts every day (no time for creating content) + my boss didn't seem happy that I can speak French. Why? 1/x
This month, I've been practicing French many hours a day. Last Sunday, I got a job as a receptionist, ~700 km from my hometown. "Come ASAP", they said. So it was a chaotic few days. 😄 There are French-speaking guests here! One woman was glowing when I started speaking in French.
@Annilyn_fr That job made me feel very bad from day 1 & she basically threatened to fire me on day 2. I started looking for a new job on my 3rd day, hoped I will find something and get away from that place ASAP. It's just unfortunate that I was fired before I managed to find something else.
@Annilyn_fr You said that well, I definitely felt at times like she sees me as a threat. Since her family owns the hotel, I can understand that she was disappointed that some guests are talking to me more than to her. But yeah, what she did to me still wasn't right+
I concluded, though - life happens, but I shouldn't stop doing things that make me happy. I should have worked harder to keep this account going despite everything I was going through, before and now. I'll keep learning, posting, and hoping I'm not just talking to myself.😂 12/12
Anyway... I am aware that my absence from here destroyed a lot of things that I was building and managed to build since I started this account. I am currently just talking to myself and hoping that there's at least one person still interested in my content. Maybe. 10/11
Today I explained everything there is to explain during a check-in, to French guests, in French only! We have a cleaning lady who is from Algeria and told me and my boss that my French is great. 😊 Je suis très contente !

@tributoalaluna ❤️ I'm not sure I'll be able to keep this job for long though, my boss literally told me after only a few hours of work that "I'm not the person for the job bc she can't let me manage a whole hotel alone yet". But at least I got to practise some French. 😂
I guess it's true what I read somewhere once... When you hear something in a foreign language you understand, it goes in your head. But when you hear something in your own language, it goes in your heart. Something like that.
