@socially321 Lol! If nothing was happening through consensus, then why were the 2 ECs just sitting idle and only recording their dissent? They should have resigned from the post and conducted PCs in a personal capacity. If they wanted their jobs, then their accountability is also at stake.

The 2 Election Commissioner disagreements over SIR prove the ECI is captured by BJP
The Indian Express reported that two Election Commissioners raised procedural concerns 14 times over ten months. This is being presented as proof of a captured institution. The reality is the opposite. The fact that two Commissioners could put concerns on record 14 times, write to the Cabinet Secretary, and continue to function within the same institution is evidence that the ECI is not a captured body. It is a body with internal procedural differences, which is normal in any institution. The final orders of the SIR were signed by all three Commissioners
@sanket 1. Quoting "67%" without saying 67% of what is the real आंकड़ों की कलाबाज़ी. Let's use the same NPCI numbers.
2. August: 2,451 Cr UPI transactions. P2M = 63% (1,544 Cr). Only 4% of those are above ₹2,000 → 62 Cr transactions.
That's 2.5% of ALL UPI transactions.
@Tweet_Amogha Sir, P2M transactions in value is 30%, that includes both Above 2000 and Below 2000 transactions, not everything will have an MDR of 0.4%. It also includes merchants will income below 1L/month and UPI mandate merchants which are excluded from the MDR.
@ojasbhandarii The average P2M payment above ₹2,000 is ~₹9,700. At 0.4%, that's ~₹39 for the merchant.
Same bill on a credit card: ₹145–245 (1.5–2.5% MDR). Debit card: up to ~₹87.
UPI is still the cheapest way for a merchant to get paid.

Small merchants under P2M (up to ₹1 lakh/month) and AutoPay mandates are exempted, so real base is even smaller than 2.5%.

@sanket 3/ By value: ₹29.82 L Cr total. P2M = 30% (₹8.95 L Cr). 67% of that = ₹5.99 L Cr → about 20% of total UPI value.
4/ Who pays? Small merchants under P2PM (up to ₹1 lakh/month) and AutoPay mandates are exempted, so real base is even smaller than 2.5%.
@IKHANTWEETS@notanidealistic@argument_girl21@ajayrotti Also sir, Petrol is not under GST today, because every state has different tax rates, like for Bihar, its a bit higher to compensate for no revenue from Alcohol.
@notanidealistic@IKHANTWEETS@argument_girl21@ajayrotti Sir, taxes collected were ~₹30L cr in fuel taxes, it doesn’t mean everything will be available for oil-bond repayment. Those revenues fund the entire government, defence, infra, welfare, subsidies, debt servicing, etc. Oil bonds were one part of it.
