Personalized unlimited use equipment as opposed to on-map general single use items were a huge mistake from 3 to Reach. Preset loadouts and bloom added unnecessary randomness to fights

We are NOT doing this revisionist shit. Halo 5 is the worst game in the series. It caused irreparable damage to the narrative and was relegated to being ended in books because it was so bad. Its gameplay was closer to Titanfall or Advanced Warfare, always trying to chase trends
