@MSchettler (Part 7) Lastly, don’t forget to enjoy making memories and remember that you are going to do great at whatever you put your mind to. If you don’t believe in yourself then I will help you believe in you and your potential. Thank you.
@MSchettler (Part 6) Stock up on Ramen and Cheez It’s. Don’t bring your entire room with you because it’s more to take back at the end of the year and less to enjoy when you go back during the year. Use reminders if you have to.
@MSchettler (Part 5) Make friends with your professors. They are there to help you. I sometimes struggle to ask questions in class when I’m confused. But if you can talk to them outside of class or later, do it. You’ll get your questions answered and learn more.
@MSchettler (Part 4) You won’t be perfect at everything right away, and that’s okay. Something I’ve done in the past is beating myself up because I didn’t get an A on an assignment or I couldn’t balance 100 everything. Take time to remember that you are human and it’s okay to make mistakes.
@MSchettler (Part 3) When you first get to school. Focus on your academics. Strive to do your very best. Make sure that when you turn something in, it’s not just because you have to for the assignment. Make sure you’re proud of it. Even if it’s just a little bit.
@MSchettler (Part 2) I have a lot of things that I wish I would’ve known when I got to school day 1. So, here’s a tiny bit of my knowledge that I wish I would’ve known about my freshman year.
@MSchettler (Part 1) Hi anyone reading this, I am currently a 3rd year student at WPU studying elementary education. When I first came to school I was really shy and a bit of “deer in the headlights” some would say. More recently however, I’ve been coming out of my shell.
Update! I got some teacher clothes yesterday! I also went to Goodwill today and got a super nice outfit! Amazing bargains! I got a jean jacket that goes really well with a flower dress I have. I also recently bought some shoes for my outfits as well! #WmPennEd
Super excited to go teacher clothes shopping today with my mom who taught 5th grade for 7 years! I’ve got a field experience in October! @MikeButler5 #WmPennEd
So excited to see what this year has to bring for me at school! Just getting a basic list together now for the essentials. Book are ready for pickup and I’ve got my bag all packed. Now I just need to move in and relax a bit. ☺️😌
You know you’re devoted to being a teacher when you have a dream about inspiring a child to make their dreams come true. #WmPennEd#FutureTeacher#InspireGreatness ♥️♥️♥️♥️
