Stayed in an @Airbnb recently with no heating or hot water (and possible electrical issues). They did give me back 30% but then upheld a false claim by the host for damages costing c.£400. Host was accused of same by others before & after!
@AirbnbHelp I DMed you earlier this week - apparently you needed to open two cases because your systems do not allow you to deal with one person’s issues in one go! I had a conversation and was told I’d hear something more and I’ve heard nothing!! Ball is in your court @AirbnbHelp@Airbnb
Update: was contacted by @AirbnbHelp who have opened two cases which I’ve had one call about and now nothings happened…
Apparently you’ve signed up to give them consent to steal your money in the T&Cs even when you don’t go the damage…

Oh, and there was no heating or hot water at the property during our stay!

@AirbnbHelp How much time am I expected to spend solving this problem that I haven’t created? You won’t even explain why you think I created the damage I didn’t create? How about one person picking this up, reading the background and giving me a call? I’m on your system!
So when does it start to cost @Airbnb more to keep losing reputation with visitors over allowing unscrupulous hosts to keep claiming wrongfully for damages?!
