@sappholives83 Converting to Catholicism in late 2023 allowed me feel closer to my grandmother. Gave me more of a sense of existence, helped with anxiety (to where I didn't have to take anti-anxiety pills anymore). I have gained a sense of sentimentality toward it.

@CaraCastronuova I think war is waste of time/lives/money because putting our countries first is more important than getting involved with others conflicts.
However Aquinas did mention just war of defense when inevitable.

I do not personally approve of mind altering substances. I don't like the idea of not being in control of my own mind. Also alot of people into heavy drinking and recreation drug use tend to be deeply pretentious.
