The ribbon was cut by Sam, Dawn, and Tam from Phoenix Bar. They've raised around Β£14k for GWAAC over the years and in 2019 our crew were sadly called to Dawn's late partner, Sean. ππ

We can only do this with your ongoing support. ππ

Our helicopter has been called out over 500 times so far this year. π
This accounts for around a quarter of our total missions in 2024, with our fleet of critical care cars responding to the rest.

A huge congratulations to Ethan Ross-Smith who has won the Young Person of the Year Award at the #AAUKAwards! π
This year, Ethan has helped keep our service flying by fundraising, volunteering and even taking part in promotional photoshoots with our crew.
Well done Ethan! ππ
So proud of the Great Western Hearts team who are dedicated to improving health outcomes for the whole population - so many more people than @GWAAC's Critical Care Team can reach. A very well deserved award!
This #RoadSafetyWeek we're raising awareness of the impact road crashes have on people.
