@thismorning the free childcare only applies in England - you’re being broadcast across the UK remember! In Wales we don’t get the 30 hours until our babies turn 3, it’s incredibly hard to return to work as a result. Paying £500+ a month for 2 days a week currently - why bother?
@GMB re: potholes - I’m a community nurse and fed up of paying for repairs on my car. Mileage claims barely cover fuel expenses let alone ‘wear and tear’ at this level.
@ParkingEyeLTD please can you advise when you are going to start charging people who misuse the parent & child spaces at Aldi? I am fed up of turning up and watching people with no children (or blue badges) take the last space! This is a sign from Buckley Aldi but all the same!
A great night tonight watching @almurray in front row seats at Parr Hall. Hubby covered in beer! Sod’s Law I decided against taking a handbag with me tonight - so no pen for an autograph at the end, just a squiggle! Typical nurse not having a pen! Back home with our elves now :)
@Rochdale20@almurray Oh yes, we’re serial sitters in the front row 😂 Makes the whole thing more entertaining - you’ve got to be able to laugh at yourself!
@DrTWilliamson The only loose example I can think of (although it’s limited) is the dementia friends initiative. I have trained fellow HB staff, patients, families, care staff… It’s a good base knowledge for people with low experience of dementia but I know you’re looking for more than that.
@AlbertIsAPotter@1stCentral They upped my policy by £20 a month just a month into it - citing they didn’t have all the information from the price comparison site I used, I picked the policy based on the prices I was given then - I feel like I’ve been robbed. And they want to charge me £100 to canx.
