@LondonFire wonder if you could help encourage @lambeth_council@SercoGroup to collect this flying tipping which has been on the LFB pier since July. I’ve reported 3 times with no luck. It’s ironically a few metres aware from a ‘throw marine a lifeline’ recycling bin
Mohamed was killed last night in an Israeli bombing that also murdered seven members of his family in #Gaza. My previous organization brought him to the United States in 2019 for prosthetic leg after an IOF sniper maimed him in the Great Return Marches. He is the 10th injured youth brought to the United States for free medical care who’s been killed in Gaza since last October by American bombs. They’re not statistics, but kids who had dreams of a life that seems impossible now. 🇵🇸☮️✌🏻
The killing of Jumana and her two newborn twin babies in Gaza yesterday was especially painful for us at HEAL Palestine because we were involved in supporting her to have a safe delivery over the past several months. There needs to be an immediate ceasefire to stop the daily killing of innocent women and children in #Gaza and the start of peace negotiations. ☮️✌️🇵🇸

I love the exquisite opening credits of Merchant-Ivory's BOMBAY TALKIE (1970), in which the names of cast and crew members are lovingly shown in the style of painted film posters. Accompanied by a dreamy score from the legendary composer duo Shankar–Jaikishan.

More amazing investigative journalism by my colleagues @ForensicArchi on the murder of #HindRajab by Israeli forces: "it is not plausible that the shooter could not have seen that the car was occupied by civilians". No UK media outlet has picked it up yet https://t.co/GLSpgVdKps
"We’ve got drone swarms, dirty bombs, radar-jamming" – inside the fake Middle Eastern town in the Mojave desert where the US Army practises for urban warfare (and where Arabic-speaking actors were recently replaced by Russian speakers...) https://t.co/V14faqNGe6
‘Dien Bien Phu was one of the decisive battles of the post-1945 era. Not since the British were turfed out of Afghanistan in the 19th century had an indigenous army inflicted so resounding a defeat on a colonial power.’
