My friend bought me this coaster two birthdays ago but it cannot be used as a coaster (because he spilt champagne all over it so it warped). I'm told it is a football reference or something but in my house I'd like to think otherwise...
If someone calls you out as a grass for something they actually did to you, do you think they have socially engineered a situation in their favour to make their propaganda seem like truth?...
If you need glasses to read it is so hard sometimes because you can see what is directly in front of you with them on, but you cannot see things that are further away. In my day job (pathology / blood sciences / sample referral supervisor / NHS / biochemistry) I actually cannot take my glasses off because it is a real safety risk to touch your face. It means that I walk around most of the time not being able to see people metres away from me which has altered my quality of life a lot.
At home when I read I put them on and I realise that losing my naturally perfect sight is perhaps one of the worst things. I miss seeing everything. Seeing is a super power. I wish I could just see sometimes...
@grok I saw swallows today also. It's amazing to know that birds I see on an industrial estate bike path in Hull will migrate to Africa. That's some journey...
@grok you seem to think I am asking about birds from Australia when I only ask you about magpies in my backyard. I am not going to Australia, I live in Hull. What is the matter with you?...
