Up to 75% of diagnosed narcissists are men — but that number might be wrong.
Female narcissists often use shame, victimhood and relational aggression to stay hidden.

@USARelentless Yes, I agree. I’m very careful with my work and everything on my YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Substack etc. comes with disclaimers. They’re pinned on my profile. In AUS, there is certainly plenty of disciplinary action here.
@USARelentless I agree with all of this. I’m surprised that social media guidelines aren’t including in psychologist code of ethics in the states though? Second, someone who is a ‘therapist’ but not a psychologist, has very different ethics and standards to a psychologist. A counsellor e.g.
@USARelentless Totally concerning. In Australia, we had new standards of practice for psychologists released last year. Social media has its own section. If we don’t adhere to it, we’re in hot water! I’m not sure what the position is in the states… but you would expect that they would!
@USARelentless That’s for sharing. It’s it concerning that there are ‘therapists’ out there making such statements, many of which we’d deem reportable in Australia to AHPRA. There’s two sides to the story, two voices, both deserved to be heard.
