Beyond humbled to join these amazing individuals from across the country to make the 50th cohort of Luce Scholars! Looking forward to what’s to come and where this next year will take me! 🌏
Meet the 50th cohort of Luce Scholars!
"This cohort will undoubtedly propel positive change and innovation, reflecting the impact of our mission and investing in leadership development." – @MarikoSilver, Foundation President.

I’m running for Governor of New Mexico.
In Congress and as Secretary of the Interior, I’ve fought for our state. I helped New Mexico
businesses open their doors, secured clean energy jobs, and worked to bring water and infrastructure projects to rural communities.
Now, it's time to tackle our biggest challenges with the fierceness only New Mexicans know. I'm ready to make government work for us – lower costs, better schools, and ensuring every family feels safe and supported.
Join me.
Congratulations to recent @UNMAlumni@Emma_Hotz for being named the first ever Luce Scholar hailing from @UNM ! Read about this competitive fellowship and what Hotz will get to accomplish:

A small donut shop owner set out a donation box on his counter this month and collected $2,000 for the victims of the mass shooting last year in Monterey Park. He later saw his car was broken into and the funds were stolen. Now, he's trying again online. https://t.co/WiyWHoGuef
This line of questioning by @SenTomCotton was ignorant & outright racist. Recklessly raising suspicion that any Asian is part of the CCP has extremely dangerous consequences for all Asian Americans. We expect elected officials to responsibly prioritize public safety over politics
"While international leaders voiced concern for the crisis in Sudan throughout the General Assembly, action in the two months since has not followed."

The Director of the UN's New York office just resigned after thirty years at the organisation over the UN's handling of the ongoing genocide of Palestinians.
The entirety of his resignation letter is a necessary read but this first page blew me away.
