@Andr6wMale@SamRecordsFr Hi Andrew,
You really are making my day with those kind words 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. I’m on Bluesky since a while now. I followed you as soon as I was set.
Very fine reissue by Éditions Les longues ondes of this raw folk gem, from 2000. With a print by the gifted Jean-Luc Navette. Thanks to David Menessier, and of course @baptistgenerals 🙏🏻
1994, US. I’ve always loved this underrated album. 30 yo (!) still fresh to my ears. I remember I was stunned by their artistic choice, playing by their own rules after the « Dirty » mainstream poke. Great.
subscribe to many, but I can’t and, on second thought, I’m not sure I should.
This is a dilemma in a true philosophical meaning, the choice between two wrong/bad positions. Like Bartleby, I would prefer not to.
These Substacks subscriptions are puzzling me more and more. Of course, they’re all at least interesting (the bubble works), even great, of course they are work, and work should be paid, and yes, you want to support this critic or this analyst you feel close to, but ./…
so many reflections, thoughts and analysis, but in the end, it’s typical of the gig economy, worker waiting for a possible subscription, overall rivalry and a pervasive form of capitalism, putting everyone in competition.
I have no solution, and I’d like to ./..
