Injured my knee running track intervals before leaving for my summer getaway to Naxos isle in Greece.

While at my cousin’s restaurant he calls an ortho doc he knows and she gets me in to see her at 10 pm.

She diagnosed meniscus tear but charged me nothing as I am a colleague MD, a ritual in Greece.

She proceeded to schedule an MRI the next day which will cost me 300 Euros since I have no insurance in Greece. Co-pay with my “good” insurance is more in the US.
