A basketball character I created from scratch. I had to think beyond simply drawing a basketball player. I wanted it to have personality, movement, energy, and a story,something you could almost feel just by looking at the artwork.

What you see here is the final result, but behind the image were hours of concept development, character design, sketching, anatomy studies, pose exploration, colouring, lighting, composition, and digital rendering.
