If you don't want refugees living in hotels, tell our govt to process their claims so they can work. If you love our country treat those less fortunate with dignity and respect. It’s not hard.
With @refugeecouncil & 100+ other charities we have written to @10DowningStreet with calls to:
🟣end @ukhomeoffice unlawful & unsafe placement of separated children in hotels
🟣find all children who are missing
🟣launch inquiry

200 CHILDREN missing from overcrowded Home Office hotels that placed staff without DBS checks to look after asylum-seeking children.
Our volunteers in the Brighton & Hove area took part in last night's protest, including Sasha who spoke to @itvmeridian
Deal with all the men who have ever assaulted, raped, abused and harassed women… the ones at work, the ones at home and all the other ones. Instead of telling us how to protect ourselves and stay safe! It’s down to the men to act and stop this not us women. #EnoughIsEnough
He came to attention of police NINE times, including rape allegations, as far back as 2000 yet wasn’t suspended until 2021 - police systems completely unfit for purpose - this is a systemic issue #fixthesystemnotthewomen https://t.co/aaRxBeK9DF
There is no excuse or apology for this anymore. Met Police is fully responsible for doing nothing for 20 years! It’s sad this is no surprise, there are so many more men to be named and put on trial for what they have done to women using the impunity they have as police officers…
#WayneCouzens#DavidCarrick and 800 other Met police officers…!! Casually reporting they are investigating that many serving police officers! They all know and protect each other again and again. All these 800 men should be named and shamed, and fired. At least. #EnoughlsEnough
Triggering & traumatizing that MET Police is home to rapists & violent abusers of women like Wayne Couzens & David Carrick. They got away with for this long BECAUSE they are Police - know how system works & that it’ll protect them
How many more are there?

I feel exactly the same, love the way he puts it! 🇫🇷🇬🇧
Being yourself is so important but it’s not a given to everyone right from the start.
Goes with being safe and free, not everyone appreciates these feelings enough when they’ve always had it and haven’t had to fight for it.
As a Refugee, I often get asked,Where's is more "Home" to you?
Here's @karimleopoetry putting it into words for me. I love Uganda, always will. But England is Home.
I feel all of the things he wrote, but also the biggest factor for me, Safe & can be myself.🏳️🌈
Priceless feeling.
And then she asked: Tell me something most people don't know about you!
And I said: There's a book/play written about my life and it was performed in Theaters in some parts of America a few years ago.
And then we lived happily ever after. 😄🙃
The book is actually real! 🤷🏿♀️
