On July 20, 1980, Terry Fox reached Stratford, Ontario. He was personally greeted by British actress Maggie Smith, who was performing at the Stratford Festival that summer. She gave him a hug, kiss, and a personal donation to the Marathon of Hope.

Hey y’all. WE NEED TO BE PAYING ATTENTION TO THE ALEXANDER BROTHERS CASE.
Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander are three Israeli-American brothers from a wealthy Miami family. Oren and Tal became powerhouse luxury real-estate brokers selling multimillion-dollar homes to celebrities and billionaires, and represented Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump in their $24 million Florida home purchase. While Alon worked in his family’s private-security business.
For over decades all 3 brothers used their status to recruit women through clubs, parties, dating apps and promoters, and lure them with luxury trips and exclusive events, THEN DRUG, ISOLATE and RAPE them, sometimes TOGETHER and with other men. More than 60 WOMEN have come forward saying they were raped by one or more of the brothers. ELEVEN women testified in court!
The evidence was fucking horrific: women drugged, incapacitated, restrained and raped. Multiple men and MINORS were involved. Jurors saw texts, emails, photographs and videos.
On March 9, 2026, a federal jury UNANIMOUSLY convicted ALL THREE on EVERY COUNT.
Seven months later, they still haven’t been sentenced.
Now their wealthy Jewish family has hired Alan Dershowitz, Jeffrey Epstein’s and Trump’s former lawyer. Dershowitz’s correspondence says his work includes exploring “executive clemency and judicial reversal.”
These men aren’t accused. THEY’RE CONVICTED.
Yet this story has received nowhere near the sustained national attention its scale deserves.
October 27 is Sentencing day.
Keep your eyes wide fucking open.

Hi, so even if a woman shows up to a party, already drunk, stark naked, and takes drugs while at the party, she won’t be raped unless there’s a rapist there.
Hope this helps. ✌🏼
One thing about the Cornell case I have not seen discussed much is that she would still have been high when she got back to her room and anything she said inside the first 24hrs to three days would have been under the lingering neurological impact of a powerful tranquilizer whose effects are magnified by alcohol and which is known to cause memory loss, euphoria, and a lack of access to the normal range of emotions and intellectual capacities, along with an inability to feel pain. Someone assaulted under the influence of ketamine might seem unbothered during or immediately afterwards because they are functionally anesthetized and in a state of drug-induced dissociation from their surroundings and body. When I was in college, a lab I worked in one summer used ketamine on rats so it could bleed them from their tails by cutting the tips off. Once you've seen ketamine used for its intended purpose as an animal tranquilizer/anesthetic you know you could literally cut someone open with a knife on that stuff, if they were given a high enough dose, and they would not cry out. Indeed, in 2025, ketamine was FDA approved for use in human surgery. Studies of recreational ketamine users show lingering impacts on memory for days after use, as well as an increase in schizotypal symptoms like flat affect and paranoia, such as fears that others are talking about you or plotting against you. It is not a simple disinhibition drug.

Saw someone say, “Women were told to put their keys between their fingers to protect themselves, and then cars stopped having keys.” And honestly… I’d never thought about it like that.
If they had believed Christine Ford, we wouldn't have Justice Kavanaugh.
If they had believed Anita Hill, wouldn't have Justice Thomas.
If only they'd believe Epstein victims, we wouldn't have Trump.
This reminds me of two scenes in the German movie “Downfall,” which depicts, historically accurately, Hitler’s last days. Both scenes involve Hitler and Albert Speer discussing Hitler’s “Nero Order,” by which the Führer had ordered the destruction of the Reich’s remaining economic infrastructure.
In the first scene, Hitler argues that the German people deserved to die because they were weak:
Hitler: “If the war is lost, it’s immaterial if the people perish too. … Our people turned out weak, and according to the laws of nature, they should die out.”
Speer: “They’re your people. You’re their Führer.”
Hitler: “The only ones who will survive the battle are the inferior ones. Our best people have fallen already.”

"We choose the bear because if it drugged and assaulted us for 7 hours, authorities would shoot it, not ask it to write an essay and then help it find a job at a wealth management firm."

“There couldn’t be a more fitting portrait of this hero." Experience never-before-seen footage of Terry Fox's legendary Marathon of Hope. RUN TERRY RUN is in theatres October 9.
First we were told the pilots were Russian and Ukrainian, now they are Indian and Omani. Oman does not allow their citizens to even travel to Israel. Even this story from the Guardian has contradictions with the back up pilots nationalities.

🎵 MARTHA AND THE MUFFINS — “ECHO BEACH”
On October 1, 1980, Martha and the Muffins’ new-wave classic “Echo Beach” was certified GOLD in Canada.
Released earlier that year, the song became the Toronto band’s breakthrough hit and one of the most instantly recognizable Canadian songs of the era.
Written by guitarist Mark Gane, the idea was born partly out of boredom while he worked a summer job checking wallpaper for printing defects. His mind would wander somewhere far more appealing — his own imaginary “Echo Beach.”
The song became a hit well beyond Canada and went on to win Single of the Year at the 1981 Juno Awards. More than four decades later, “Echo Beach” was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.
You only need a few seconds before you know exactly what song is coming.
Also, can we talk about that saxophone solo played by Andy Haas?

1️⃣ This is what happened to a similar plane during severe turbulence when it dropped only 178 feet in less than 5 seconds.
2️⃣ And this is what happened to Flydubai, which nose-dived 14,000 feet in just 29 seconds.
Probably nothing.
This is the aftermath photos inside of the plane Singapore Airlines Flight SQ321 on May 21, 2024 which suffered turbulence & dropped 178 feet (about 54 meters) in 4.6 seconds. Air Canada Boeing 787-9 experienced severe turbulence at 36000 feet. That’s how it supposed to look
