Writer, reader, millennial, TV addict. Working in film & TV. I do the sarcasm thing and greatly enjoy the puns. I also love my cats. RIP Birdie & Aurora
gets on my nerves when someones talking abt a show from the mid 00s saying "theres a lot of filler episodes but-" LIKE ? the filler was the point. it platformed side characters. explored relationships. this is what tv used to be abt ! i miss the filler. i miss stories told slowly
I think I can speak for all women when I say:
Thank you, and please keep doing this 🙏🏻
This time it made everyone laugh at the end, but there will be many times when we’ll be really grateful that we don’t have to fight alone.
No need to apologize for checking in. This is how men should be! You’re great.
I would like to request filmmakers stop using 360 degree shots, particularly speedy and continuous shots. Makes me nauseous, dizzy, and gives me a migraine; I have to completely stop watching the scene.
The psychic Sheldon and Penny go to, expresses how the key to his happiness is committing to her (Amy) completely. And super symmetry/asymmetry comes during their engagement/wedding. 🤯 #TBBT
I feel like Wrigley, at least after losing his brother (maybe before and I just didn’t pay attention), is the most self aware, possibly healthiest character out of the bunch. His character might be my favourite in season 3. #TellMeLies
I’m sorry that was your experience, but as someone who loves movies. It made the experience of watching a move so much more than just pressing play. We got dressed, drove to blockbuster & browsed the aisles together or separately picking our own movies. Hoping the movie you wanted was in stock(having a backup in mind) Then we met at the snack section & grabbed popcorn & Buncha Crunch & gummy bears. We stopped & grabbed takeout on the way home & picked whose movie to watch first. It was an experience that has been minimized to browsing Netflix for 25 minutes and still not knowing what to watch, till eventually settling for watching the same show/movie you’ve seen 100x just so you can scroll on your phone 2/3 of the time.
Anthony Mackie on the death of movie stars and what’s gone wrong with modern cinema:
“You’re either making movies for 16-year-olds… or for China. That’s it.”
@Matt_Pinner Millennial here! 20 for me too. A lot of things pre-10 years old, but fulfilled all of them. I both miss and understand impatience around the rotary phone
Not for 5 seasons. There’s a reason I don’t watch British TV. A year between each season at MOST. Better yet, bring back weekly episodics as the main form of TV, with 4 months of time between. It was better.
Season 4 & 5s episodes are too long. No series has any business having every episode over an hour long. Leave it at 45-55 minutes - I don’t care if it’s on streaming. Rewatch-ability is so much less and this series is a flash in the pan, there’s no show that I’ll give 9 years to.
