Good idea to reduce food waste. At the end of each day, M&S takes unsold baguettes and turns them into frozen garlic bread. That's done in 253 stores at present and will be rolled out to another 125 next month. So far 2.1m have been sold

Ten checkouts removed. All eight remaining checkouts shut. Self-checkout only = one employee to run the whole front end of a pretty big superstore. The race to the middle is not pretty.

Doctor lies next to forms that must be filled in for one admission. Think this explains quite a lot. Doc says nurses spend 70% of time on paperwork. So what do all the hundreds of thousand of admin staff do? #NHS

If true, then this needs a closer examination. I find it hard to believe they would do any business deal without consultation, be transparent but one only has to look into the PPE contracts debacle to know civil servants and procurement teams can make mistakes. Hope CS learns..
